LEGOLAND WINDSOR

This week see's the end of the daunting 6 weeks holidays in the UK, and so last week my sister and I took my gorgeous nieces down to Legoland in Windsor. I didn't really know what to expect, but it was such a good day, and I would seriously recommend going if you're with young children. I'd say it's best for children aged 5-10, which was perfect for us as my nieces are 5 and 9 years old, and they both said it was "the best day of their summer"- how adorable!

The rides were really fun for the girls (and me and my sister), and we were so lucky to have the weather on our side as we managed to choose a day filled with glorious sunshine and blue skies. The lego village was my highlight, it's fascinating how detailed everything is. They covered the entire city of London, Brighton, Paris, the French Alps, NASA, Wembley Arena, and so many more amazing and instantly recognisable places, and its just incredible to walk around and see how detailed every last section is.

I'm not sure how long this has been there for, but we saw a lego Taylor Swift, (yes, Swifty's picked up a residency in Windsor) which we genuinely thought was just a huge photograph of her, but when we got up close realised it was crafted out of lego! The people who make these things are incredibly talented, but how much of an amazing job would it be to build lego cultures for a living?!

  1. I never went to Legoland as a kid and by the time I'd realised I hadn't been I was too old to justify it! But taking younger relatives sounds like so much fun and it really is amazing what some people can do with lego :) x

    1. Definitely take a trip there if you ever get the chance, probably best if you have kids to enjoy it with but either way it'd be fun!
